After disappearing for weeks, #81 finally resurfaced and it is as much a mystery now as it was back when it fell off of our radar.   Andrew Farmer and Cole Houston are joined by Figments hosts Eddie and Colleen Medina as they seek out the bizarre and unfathomable in comics.  From Bigfoot to UFOs to the Loch Ness Monster and beyond, when comics and cryptids mix, things can get pretty weird.

Figments Case File 006: Bigfoot, Mothman and other Mysterious Monsters LIVE from All-Con 2014

Here it is Crypto-teers! The long awaited Part Two of our Live broadcast from All-Con 2014. It took a couple of extra weeks due to the extra post-production work we had to do in order to get the audio up to acceptable levels. But here it is..."Bigfoot, Mothman and other Mysterious Monsters."

This is an extra special treat in that it is a JCU Podcast Family Reunion! In the show you will hear many familiar voices of the JCU Podcasting world including Cole Houston, Andrew Farmer, Bobby Blakey and Roy Buckingham from Cult Film Fanatics. Lots of other friends chime in, both old and new, making this of of our goofiest episodes yet.

Please note there are two parts to this episode so make sure not to turn it off too early. You will hear the main panel which lasts 45 minutes but then right after is a BONUS 20 minute episode. The entire episode runs about 1 hour 8 minutes so make sure you don't stop at the 45 minute mark.

Hey Kids, Comics #87 - Space Race

Welcome to a great new issue of Hey Kids, Comics! and a kind of companion piece to last weeks show.  

Hot on the heels of discussing time travel in comics, Andrew Farmer and Cole Houston turn their attentions to space travel.  It seemed only natural to do so, and in this case the impact of space travel (to and from good ol' Earth) has been a surfeit of alien species that have cropped up over the decades.

Join us as we talk about the best and the worst alien races that have zeroed in on our homeworld or that our favorite heroes have encountered on their travels.  And expect a follow up to this in the near future as there were just too many to talk about in one hour!

The Rantcor Pit #12 - Star Wars Fandom at G33K3 The Con

Taking the show on the road a few weeks ago, Cole Houston and Eddie Medina are now happy to present the first of a couple of episodes of The Rantcor Pit that were recorded live at conventions.  

 

This particular installment was recorded in a cavernous presentation space at G33K3 The Con, hence the echo and unique sound quality.  None the less we had a lot of fun recording a show in front of an audience and talking all about the ever changing face of Star Wars fandom.
